Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This policy explains how Abundance 12 (“A12,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Abundance 12 mobile app and related services.
Information we collect
- Account and sign-in information: first and last name, email address, a securely hashed password for password accounts, and account identifiers from Apple or Google if you choose those sign-in options. We do not receive your Apple or Google account password.
- Profile and preferences: profile photo, biography or headline, selected character, time zone, and account settings you choose to provide.
- Progress and content: goals and goal descriptions, logs you submit, missions and completion status, points, achievements, streaks, and related game progress.
- Coaching and council activity: council membership and invitations, coaching notes and action items, and progress information needed to provide coaching and community features.
- Technical and security information: device name, mobile platform, app version, session and authentication records, and service logs such as request time, IP address, and diagnostic information where available.
We do not ask for precise location, contacts, or health data. Information you choose to enter in a goal, bio, or coaching interaction may nevertheless reveal personal or sensitive details; please share only what you are comfortable recording in A12.
How we use information
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate sign-ins, and help recover passwords.
- Provide profiles, goals, missions, progress, achievements, councils, and coaching features.
- Show relevant profile and progress information to your coach and, where a feature makes it visible, members of a council or leaderboard you join.
- Respond to account and service requests, maintain the service, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and protect users and A12.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Profile photos and information shared in the app
Profile photos are stored with a cloud object-storage and content-delivery provider. The current photo-storage configuration uses DigitalOcean Spaces in Singapore and serves photos through a public URL. Anyone who has a photo URL may be able to view that photo while it remains stored or cached. Do not upload a photo that you want to keep private.
Your coach can see information needed for coaching, including profile details and relevant goals, mission activity, and progress. Some information may be shown to council members or on leaderboards when you use those features. We do not publish your account email or password in the app.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate A12:
- Service providers: hosting, database, email-delivery, and object-storage/CDN providers process information to provide infrastructure and support for A12. We require providers processing information for us to protect it and use it only for their contracted service.
- Sign-in providers: Apple or Google handle the authentication option you select under their own privacy policies. We receive the identity information needed to establish or sign in to your A12 account.
- Coaches and community members: information is shared as described above to deliver coaching, council, and leaderboard features.
- Legal and safety purposes: we may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or our legal rights.
The mobile app currently does not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. If our data practices change, we will update this policy and the applicable store privacy disclosures.
Retention and account deletion
We keep account and activity information while your account is active and as needed to provide and protect the service. You can request deletion from the app’s Profile page using “Delete account.” Account deletion removes the account and associated app records from active systems, revokes active sessions, and deletes a profile photo stored in our configured photo storage. Public content-delivery caches may take time to expire.
We may retain limited records where required by law, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect service security. Encrypted backups and security logs are removed or overwritten through their normal retention cycles.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can update profile information in the app, choose whether to use Apple/Google sign-in, and choose what information to add to your profile and goals. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information. Contact us below to make a request. We may need to verify that you control the account before responding.
Security and international processing
We use safeguards such as encrypted network connections, access controls, password hashing, and protected session handling. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries where they or their infrastructure operate; profile photos are currently stored in Singapore.
Children
A12 is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information to A12 can contact us and request review and deletion.
Third-party services and policy updates
Apple and Google sign-in and links to other services are governed by those providers’ own privacy notices. We may update this policy as A12 changes. We will post the current version here and update the “Last updated” date.
